‘You only rest if you’re selling’ - Leeds fans react to latest player update

Our Leeds fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to seeing how this season progresses once it gets underway next month.

The men from Elland Road have had a good summer so far and the work is well underway now to get the players fit with friendlies already having been played.

Indeed, so far the club has performed fairly well in the friendlies, too, and that will boost confidence heading into the new campaign which is just a few weeks away.

For sure, then, Thomas Christiansen will be beginning to have an idea of what he wants to do with his team but there are a few injuries within the squad that need to be sorted.

Indeed, Phil Hay on Twitter has revealed as such and plenty have reacted to that so here is the best of what has been said:

Erwin, Klich and Sacko had minor injuries tonight. Hernandez was rested. Christiansen still to finalise Austria squad.

I have to say that caution at this stage is most certainly wise, if players are carrying knocks. Christiansen should do things his way%.
