Chelsea fans in the Transfer Tavern are discussing the dismal performances from one of their summer additions, thankful for the latest reports that suggest he’s on his way out.
Radamel Falcao, signed on a season long loan from Monaco, has struggled with the Blues this season scoring just one goal- adding to his abysmal displays with Manchester United last term, where he managed just four strikes all campaign.
The Daily Telegraph suggest Falcao could be given an escape route in the form of Russian outfit Zenit St Petersburg, who are managed by former Chelsea boss Andre Villas-Boas.
A number have rumours have been mentioned around the pool tables in the bar in recent weeks, indicating that Chelsea will cut-short Falcao’s loan spell in January, and Russia could be the place for the Colombian striker to find his feet again.
Despite struggling in England, Falcao has an eye-catching record from his time at Porto and Atletico Madrid; whilst he did well at Monaco before a long-term injury lay-off.
