The Jurgen Klopp era is well underway at Liverpool, with a fresh sense of optimism emanating out of Anfield right now.
The German has been in charge just seven months, though has already led the club to two cup finals and through a host of stunning performances.
While Reds fans are no doubt excited about what the former Borussia Dortmund coach will pull off in the transfer market in terms of arrivals, some thought must be given as to who will depart.
Those individuals leaving will play just as big a part in shaping the squad as those who walk through the door.
Klopp inherited a largely unbalanced squad from Brendan Rodgers, with a number of the latter’s signings not fitting the bill on Merseyside.
So, he’s got much work to. Expect a busy summer of activity.

Christian Benteke
Ironically enough, the man brought in to replace flop forward Mario Balotelli has done the exact same thing.
Christian Benteke has struggled to convince as a Liverpool player, often looking completely out of place in their attack.
The towering Belgian has not suddenly become a bad player since his £32m move from Aston Villa, though simply doesn’t fit right at Anfield.
West Ham are believed to be interested.
Martin Skrtel
Martin Skrtel has been a top class defender for Liverpool since arriving in 2008, though has seemingly lost his place under Klopp.
The 31-year old will see his position come under even further threat following the arrival of Joel Matip this summer. The Slovakian simply can’t catch a break it seems.
Turkish outfit Besiktas are thought to be weighing up a move, which would afford the imposing defender one last big payday in his career.
Alberto Moreno
Occasionally Alberto Moreno will do something that makes him look like a top class footballer. Don’t be fooled.
The Spaniard is painfully inconsistent and has not been an effective remedy for the left-back problems dogging the Reds for a number of years now.
Though pace is obviously an asset, especially in the modern game, his defensive frailty and concentration lapses surely have no place under Klopp next term.
Mario Balotelli
Yes, he’s still on the books at Anfield.
The signing of Mario Balotelli has been an unmitigated disaster for the Reds, who are even unlikely to recoup much of the £16m shelled out on him initially.
The Italian simply needs to be cut loose and the whole affair forgotten.
