The man from Gosforth and Benitez have a very close bond together. The 39-year-old quickly climbed the ranks as he worked his way up from managing director, and now looks set to provide for the club in the upcoming transfer window.

Having had previous experience in the Premier League, Benitez will know just how challenging it’s going to be to continue this momentum in order to get where they want to be.

As the January transfer window edges closer, the need for experience in strength and depth and an all-important firing striker, this has left the opening month of the year with an added importance.

With the striker position being a big problem for the Tyneside club, this man if he can be lured could quite possibly cure those goal-scoring droughts in the striking department.

For a player who offers, electrifying pace, trickery and skill in abundance and a keen eye for goal this man really can offer Newcastle what they’re missing.

As the transfer window edges closer, Charnley should look no further than this man to be the driving force in creating what will be not only a successful bit of business but also a successful first season back in the big time.

Jack Wilshere

Having spent more time in a cast that he has done playing football, this man seems to be back to his old ways as he continues to impress after his return to the game. The 25-year-old, who has managed 105 games for Arsenal already in the Premier League looks to be an experienced yet frustrating figure, who holds both domestic and European knowledge.

The English international has very much been on the fringes of the Arsenal side as he was sent out on loan to Bournemouth for the entirety of last season where he was pivotal to the club’s survival.

Although game time has been short, there is no doubting the talent that the midfield ace has. Being able to work tirelessly for the team providing a pitbull like drive never giving the opposition midfield a second of rest along with the superb passing ability that many compared to the likes of Patrick Viera.
