What next for Manchester United….. The Red Devils have been through all kinds of ecstasy and misery since Sir Alex Ferguson left the club in 2013.
The club have finished 7th, 4th and 5th since Fergie left the club. United have experienced the tough reality of the Champions League and seen how difficult the Europe league really is.
The Red Devils have seen that some managers can’t succeed at all clubs such as David Moyes, and that some managers have styles that are only suited to other clubs or countries like Louis van Gaal.
United supporters wait with heaps of anticipation to see what next season holds as Jose Mourinho takes charge at Old Trafford. It seems as though Zlatan Ibrahimovic may even follow him to Manchester!
But just how great could next season be if United were to re-sign a certain Paul Pogba…

Pro – Quality
There is no hiding Pogba’s quality.
He is absolutely unbelievable on the ball and off it.
He is a passing master, he is quality with the ball at his feet as he beats defenders thanks to his touch and pace and of course, he has an unbelievable strike.
Pogba is the best midfielder in the world right now and he is just 23 years old.
The Frenchmen at the Tavern believe there is plenty more to come from this man.
Con – Money
For the money that United could sign Pogba, they could sign 2 or 3 incredible players.
Even though Pogba is one of the best players on the planet, United realistically could sign a number of players and repair a few damages in the squad with the same amount of money.
The money in football is crazy, but this may be a figure too much. (The United fan in the corner doesn’t think so!)
Pro – Champions League
United won’t be playing in the Champions League this season.
But if they were to sign the likes of Paul Pogba, they would undoubtedly reach the top of the English table once again.
If Pogba were to sign, other players would run down to Old Trafford to sign, he is a player with a global status and everybody wants to play in an exciting, fresh, young team.
The bartender at the Tavern doesn’t think Pogba would want to play in the Europa League.
Con – Formation
It is hard to imagine how United will line up with Pogba in the side.
If Mourinho opts to sign lots of world-class players, it can only result in unrest for the squad.
Every week, Zlatan, Rooney, Martial, Pogba, Mata along with a host of other players will be fighting for their place in the line up.
Although competition is great for a side, this could result in some of United’s key players leaving Old Trafford if they are not getting enough game time.
The man by the pool table isn’t sure how United will fare next season, but it isn’t long until we find out.
