The Man City fans in the Transfer Tavern are expecting a very busy January transfer window…
Man City have performed decently well so far this season, but in truth – the Sky Blues in the Transfer Tavern were expecting a bit more.
The Guardiola-led side have slipped in the Premier League, despite leading earlier in the campaign, and it would appear as though their Spanish boss has a lot of work to do.
As is often the case, January provides a perfect opportunity for Guardiola to look at his squad and bring in additional reinforcements, and if Diario Gol are to be believed – he sees Real Madrid star Isco as a perfect option.
The move, should it happen, would certainly be considered a coup for Man City – and our landlord thinks that it would be an incredible signing.
With that said, here are 2 reasons why Guardiola should do everything in his power to sign Isco
David Silva

David Silva has been the focal point of the Man City attack for years – but there is no doubting that the Spaniard is quickly approaching his final years at the highest level.
He will turn 31 in the new year, and Isco would serve as the perfect replacement for the veteran Spaniard.
Isco is just 24-years-old, meaning that if Man City were to capture him – he could be the man in the heart of the Citizens’ midfield for the best part of a decade.
David Silva has been a wonderful servant, but Guardiola must look towards the future.
Ability

There is no doubting it – Isco is one of Europe’s finest players.
He has been touted with greatness since a young age, and whilst at Real Madrid he hasn’t quite been fortunate enough to become a mainstay – there is no doubting that he has improved as a player.
His lack of game time speaks more about how much quality Zidane has available to him, rather than how good Isco is – and the truth is that the young Spaniard deserves to be playing every single week.
The Man City fans in the Tavern are dreaming of a Sterling, Isco, De Bruyne and Aguero front 4 – and they would love him to join.
