With the Gunners struggling so much to truly convince in forward berths, Borussia Mönchengladbach forward Raffael would be a wonderful addition.

The Brazilian would be perfect in North London, boasting the technical skill to blend in with the vast array of intricate technicians at Wenger’s disposal.

Still, the 31-year-old is lethal in front of goal and can revert to an out-and-out forward when required.

Naby Keïta

Learning his trade with RB Leipzig, 21-year-old midfielder Naby Keita is seemingly tailor-made for the Gunners.

Used to playing an explosive and dynamic brand of football, the Guinean international would give urgency to Arsenal’s midfield.

In many ways, he has all the attributes to be considered a complete engine room operator.

Pace, power and skill, he’d be ideal for the Premier League giants.

Though Granit Xhaka has been drafted in to add steel to midfield, Schalke ace Leon Goretzka would provide some welcome competition.

For so long, the club have been lacking a midfield bruiser to shield the backline, with Francis Coquelin’s performances dipping in recent months.

That being said, the 21-year-old German would be ideal to bring in and mould into a future first-team star over the next decade or so.
