3 Chelsea players Conte should ask Emenalo to get rid of in January

Chelsea fans here in the Transfer Tavern are beginning to question the long-term future of particular squad members, for the second time in three years. Indeed, the Blues in our bar are worried about yet another implosion, this time under Antonio Conte.

Chelsea have begun the season in a fashion that many would agree is below average for the Premier League champions. Currently sitting just outside the Champions League places, they haven’t quite found the form of last season as they look yet to recover from last year’s celebration hangover.

Their season has just gotten even worse over the past few days by handing Crystal Palace their first win this season and then going and a sluggish draw 3-3 at home to Italian side Roma. As the London based club start to see their season decline and diminish, it is important that they are to act fast to save it.

However, one thing that many fans have been looking towards as a possible saviour, is the January transfer window, as Chelsea always look to spend big. The injury to Alvaro Morata and questions about the other forwards that the club has at their disposal has made it evident that the club are likely to see the departure of some of their more fringe players.

Having plenty to ponder, with an important run of games coming up prior to the start of the window, it looks as if the run into the New Year could prove make-or-break for the London giants, as they do their best to rescue what could turn out to be a disaster.

So, with that in mind, here are 3 potential departures that Conte should think about flushing out the door at Chelsea…

Baba Rahman

The full-back has endured a fairly tough time at Chelsea so far, having made only 15 appearances for the side since joining in 2015. It’s been a stop-start career path for this man, to say the very least.

He was shipped out on loan to German side Schalke for 13 games last season until he sustained a long-term injury which has only just seen his return to full-time training in September.

So, after a successful loan spell last time out and the ever-reliable and impressive Marcus Alonso looking to have the position nailed down already, it looks very bleak for the Ghanaian’s time at Stamford Bridge.

With an added pressure from Victor Moses who can play on either flank, it looks as if it will be near enough impossible for him to force his way in with a possible loan or permanent move being the outcome.

Charly Musonda

The Belgian has been subject to much controversy of late after hitting out at the club on social media and with the club looking to take disciplinary action, it doesn’t look good for the Belgian wonder kid.

After living life in the Chelsea reserve side, he hasn’t found his way into the first-team, as he looks to make his way in. After spending the duration of last season on loan at Spanish side Real Betis, it looks as if there isn’t a place for him in the Blues side as they continue to ship him off elsewhere.

So for someone who is so hungry for first-team football, it seems as if he is going to have to find it somewhere else, if he is going to want to progress in his career.

The possible departure of this man whether it is a loan or a permanent move is looking ever the more likely.

Michy Batshuayi

The Belgian has been rather mistreated in his time at the Bridge as he continues to produce some impressive performances and score some important goals but hasn’t been given any recognition for it.

Having scored 5 goals in just 188 minutes for the club he has the lowest average of minutes per goal in the whole team yet continues to be pushed aside by Conte. Recent reports have suggested that the Belgian man is on his way out of the club come January as he lines up a replacement for the young striker.

So with the departure of this man being inevitable, it looks like it’s going to be a tough 6 weeks for the forward as he endures his last few months as a Chelsea player.

So Chelsea fans, are these the 3 men that will be shipped out of your side come January?
