3 emerging Man Utd attacking talents to get fans excited

When Marcus Rashford burst onto the scene two questions came to mind.

Firstly, how good could he get and secondly, where’s the next one coming from.

Certainly those were the thoughts of the Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern as they saw their latest hero wheel away in celebration last season against Arsenal.

Since, then, in response to that first question, it appears the answer could be very good. The young attacker has taking everything in his stride and has represented his nation already, with him looking at home on the biggest stage.

The second answer, though, is still yet to be discovered.

It’s the very nature of football fans to wonder where their next star is going to come through with many keeping a keen eye on their club’s academy.

Indeed, our landlord has been presiding over what United have to help expand his encyclopaedic type knowledge and thinks that Red Devils fans should start getting excited over these three prodigies in particular…

Nishan Burkart

If United are looking for their next fox in the box and the type of player that just sniffs chances then maybe they have found him in Nishan Burkart.

The striker was born in 2000 which makes our landlord feel very old but he already looks like he knows his way around the 18 yard box as he finds himself in the right place at the right time for an easy finish at 2:25.

Demetri Mitchell

Quite a few Manchester United fans are getting excited about Demetri Mitchell and with good reason. He already has a good eye for goal and plays for the Under 23’s despite still being a teenager.

He prefers to play out wide and attack the full back or come inside and get shots away but he can play down the middle, too, and so he certainly has similar attributes to Marcus Rashford.

Tahith Chong

Chong is arguably the one the United academy are most excited about coming through. He joined from Feyenoord in the summer and has quickly gone about showing why he was so highly rated in the Netherlands with his performances for United’s Under 18’s.

He’s already a strong physical forward and so it may not be long until he makes his senior bow.
