Do Not Sell My Personal Information

3 players Arsenal really should have sold by now – Do you agree?

The Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have had to deal with quite a few dodgy transfers in recent years.

With every new season comes renewed hope for the Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern.

Despite floundering between disappointing and impressive for the best part of a decade – the Arsenal faithful always remain hopeful that a positive step awaits them in the season ahead.

However, one particularly vocal Arsenal fan in the Tavern is refusing to forget the mistakes of past years; and has insisted that with Arsenal’s current playing squad – they will not win a thing.

He argues that there are a host of players at the that are simply not good enough, and until they are sold; Arsenal will be forced to live in mediocrity.

With that said, here are THREE players that he thinks Arsenal really should have sold by now – Do you agree?

 Calum Chambers

When Calum Chambers originally signed for Arsenal, very few in the Tavern thought it was a wise decision.

He was a player on the cusp of breaking into the Southampton first team, and was certainly not ready to make the leap up to play for Arsenal each and every week.

Since his arrival, he has done very little to prove that he is even close to good enough to don the famous red of Arsenal.

Defensive mistakes, inconsistency and a lack of progress are just some of the reasons behind the failing of the Calum Chambers project – and now is the time for Wenger to put a halt to it.

He is currently on loan with Middlesbrough – but that loan should serve solely as a means of increasing Chambers’ market value.

 Theo Walcott

Theo Walcott is a player that the Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern have lamented for years – yet he remains a regular part of first team setup at the Emirates.

Unable to perform either up front or on the wing, Walcott is a consistently inconsistent part of the Arsenal squad – and it is a mystery to our landlord as to how he has managed to remain at the club for so long.

Speculation in the Tavern links him with a move away like clockwork every single summer – but thus far he has survived the chop.

In order for Arsenal to progress, he really needs to be sold.

 Mathieu Debuchy

Debuchy

A few of the Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern had forgotten that Mathieu Debuchy was still on Arsenal’s books…

The French defender has had an unfortunate spell at Arsenal thus far, with a long-term injury lay off costing him his spot in the Arsenal first team.

Hector Bellerin has come through and proven himself to be a superior defender, and so Debuchy is yet to feature thus far this term.

As a result, Arsenal should really look to sell him. His wages are relatively high, and given his experience he could still demand a sizeable fee.

They must sell soon, or it could be too late.
