The club have had a very successful summer, bringing in huge names like Yannick Bolasie and Ashley Williams to name a few during Ronald Koeman’s first summer in charge of the club.

With just over 24 hours to go until the transfer window slams shut for the Premier League clubs, the Everton fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are discussing who might be headed to Goodison Park tomorrow.

A host of names have been touted with the move, but what can the Everton faithful actually expect before 11:30pm tomorrow night?

Who should Ronald Koeman sign as a means of closing out his summer spending, in an attempt to push Everton up the table this season?

With that said, here are THREE players that Everton should sign before tomorrow’s 11:30pm deadline…

Wilfried Bony

The signing of Wilfried Bony would be an absolute coup for Everton.

Despite struggling to break into the Manchester City first team, our landlord thinks that Bony is up there with some of the best striker’s in the world.

He was absolutely prolific for Swansea, and whilst he didn’t quite find his feet in Manchester – the best is yet to come from the talented Ivorian.

With the brunt of Everton’s attacking weight placed firmly on the shoulder’s of Romelu Lukaku, Bony would represent a world-class alternative option up front.

Unlikely to get much of a look in this season; Bony could be perfect for Everton – and available.

Lamine Kone

Despite having already captured Ashley Williams, Everton are still in the market for a central defender – and long-term target Lamine Kone definately fits the bill.

A well versed Premier League defender, Kone has excelled during his spell with Sunderland – and would prove a real asset to Everton’s ageing defensive line.

At 27 years old, Kone is coming into the best form of his career – and Everton would do well to ensure that he spends his best year on Merseyside.

Any move would likely be difficult to come by, given Sunderland hesitance to do a deal – but he would be worth every penny. Everton have captured most of their targets this summer – just Kone remains.

Asmir Begovic

Despite being one of the best goalkeepers in the Premier League, Chelsea keeper Asmir Begovic has never really had much of a look in at Stamford Bridge.

Thibaut Courtois is the club’s undisputed number one, and that leaves Begovic to man the bench in hope that the Belgian suffers an injury.

Everton should look to exploit Begovic’s lack of game time and attempt to bring him to Goodison Park. Current number one Maarten Stekelenburg will turn 34 next month, and Asmir Begovic would provide an option both in the present and future for Ronald Koeman’s side.

Chelsea would likely not be able to force Begovic to stay, and he is unlikely to command a particularly high fee.

The deal makes a lot of sense for Everton.
