It hasn’t been a great season for Manchester United so far during the 2016/17 campaign, with Jose Mourinho looking like a man under immense pressure at present.
The Portuguese boss is in the headlines for all the wrong reasons of late and looks set for another touchline ban after kicking a water bottle during last weekend’s 1-1 draw with West Ham United.

The Chelsea midfielder could be set for a rather bizarre reunion with ex-Blues boss Jose Mourinho during January, with the United boss looking to add some steel to his midfield ranks.
The Nigerian has fallen way down the pecking order at Stamford Bridge and boss Antonio Conte is willing to let him leave during the month of January.
United have struggled on occasions through the middle this season and Mikel could be just the man that Mourinho needs to shore up the middle of the park.
Victor Lindelof

The commanding central defender could be in line for a January switch to Old Trafford, after impressing in Portugal with Benfica.
United will look for defensive reinforcements during the forthcoming transfer window, having conceded several sloppy goals both domestically and in Europe this season.
The 22-year-old has been capped by 11 times for his native Sweden and his signing would ensure United get hold of a player in advance of his best years as a player.
