The Arsenal fans here in the Football Transfer Tavern are anxiously awaiting their Champions League clash with French giants PSG…
Whilst Arsenal have often struggled to make it to the business end of the Champions League, they are almost always consistent in the group stages.
Often having to battle their way past at least one top side, Arsenal have proven themselves as a real threat in Europe, and you would expect that to continue this season.
The London-based club come up against the ever-formidable PSG this year, and they will no doubt have to pull all of their tricks out the bag if they wish to come out on top.
The Arsenal faithful are behind their side, and our landlord is backing them to come out on top.
With that said, here are THREE reasons why Arsenal will beat PSG in the UCL – Agreed?
Attacking Threat

Whilst Arsenal aren’t quite the finished article yet – one thing that they always have is a strong attacking threat.
With a forward line consisting of players like Alexis Sanchez, Mesut Ozil and Olivier Giroud – you can almost always back the club to score at least one goal; and that one goal is often enough to snatch a victory in a high profile match like this.
It will no doubt be a cagey affair, but with the loss of Zlatan Ibrahimovic at PSG – Arsenal will certainly pose more of a threat going forward.
If it were to come down to a scoring match; Arsenal would win every single time.
Experience

Whilst Arsenal have had limited success in recent years – the year-on-year experience of getting through the Champions League group stages has proved that Arsenal know exactly how to get past the big games in the group.
When called upon, Arsenal almost always pull a big performance out of the bag in a big Champions League game, and that will no doubt come into play when squaring up against PSG.
And whilst Arsenal themselves may not have the experience of going all the way – our landlord has reminded us that some of the men in red certainly have.
Mesut Ozil, Alexis Sanchez and Petr Cech have all gone all the way – and that could prove vital as Arsenal look to hold their nerve on a big European night.
Big European nights are all about experience – and Arsenal have it in droves.
Return of key players

Much has been made here in the Football Transfer Tavern over Arsenal’s relatively disappointing start to the season – but there have certainly been signs of the Gunners returning to their best.
It is only going to get better from here on out for the Gunners too – with the club’s entire squad now ready and available.
Mesut Ozil, Laurent Koscielny and Olivier Giroud are just three of Arsenal’s biggest stars that have missed games so far, and they are all now fit and ready for the season ahead.
Arsenal also have recent signings, Shkodran Mustafi and Lucas Perez, available for selection – giving Wenger another boost.
Arsenal have weathered the storm; it’s plain sailing from here on out.
