Manchester United missed out on yet another win this weekend after Jose Mourinho’s side were held to a 0-0 draw by West Brom at Old Trafford and it’s a result that’s left some Red Devils fans here in the pub extremely frustrated indeed.
It’s an eighth home draw of the season for Jose Mourinho and his players and for a club of United’s stature, it’s simply not good enough because they need to really be beating teams like West Brom if they are to challenge for the title going forward.
Even our landlord has his reservations about this side and he feels there is one player that might be able to really turn things around at Old Trafford for the better.
The man in question? Demarai Gray, who himself has had a topsy-turvy season having been in and out of the Leicester side under both Claudio Ranieri and Craig Shakespeare.
And we agree with the boss at the pub and think he’d make a cracking addition to life at Old Trafford.

He’s one of the hottest prospects in English football
Few young, English players can say they’ve left their boyhood clubs to go on and win the Premier League title at the first attempt but for Demarai Gray, that’s certainly the case.
Leicester City picked him up for a real bargain and even though he hasn’t been a starter all-campaign long, his potential is there for all to see.
He’s quick, hard-working and seriously skillful and going forward, could turn out to be a real future England international.
Some of United’s forward players just aren’t cutting it
Inconsistency has been arguably United’s biggest downfall this season and there’s far too many of their attacking players that haven’t been good enough on a regular basis.
That case can’t be said for Gray, who almost always seems to turn in good performances when he’s given time on the pitch.
He’s started seven Premier League games this season and has impressed, which could mean a move to a bigger club in the very near future. United fans here in the pub seem to be well up for the idea of bringing in the young winger.
His performances for England show he’s the real deal
Despite not quite getting the rub of the green at club level on many occasions this season, Gray has been impressing at international level, where he remains a mainstay in the England U21 set-up.
More often than not, we see the former Birmingham man lining up on the wing for the young lions and turning in fantastic performances, something that perhaps warrants more game-time at Leicester.
But could Mourinho spot the potential and the need to bring in some new, exciting talent to replace some of the ageing stars at Old Trafford?
