Arsenal’s season started poorly, however the light is beginning to once again shine down on The Emirates in North London as the Gunners have put together a brilliant string of results, with 4 successive Premier League victories and are now unbeaten in all competitions since the opening day of the season.
Their most recent win – a 3-0 thrashing of Antonio Conte’s visiting Chelsea side – was particularly impressive considering the Gunners had struggled for a number of years to topple their London rivals.
They did so in style, and in doing so signalled their intent to really amount a title challenge this season.
After a second place finish last campaign – the best the club have achieved in a decade – many of the Arsenal faithful at the Tavern were worried their side would slip back into the realms of mediocrity with yet another 4th placed finish.
And while a lot of the season remains, if the past weeks are anything to go by, the Gunners look anything but that.
