Spurs will be looking to the summer transfer market to add some more strength, depth, and quality to a squad already brimming with talent.
Consistent over the past few seasons in terms of sealing Champions League football, the tide appears to have turned in their favour in terms of their rivalry with Arsenal, and they are now the top dogs when it comes to the Premier League.
However, our punters here in the Tavern think the club need to win a trophy, and do so, they need to be adding some more attacking quality to the ranks over the summer.
One such player who has been getting plenty of mentions during conversations over the dartboard this week is former Liverpool forward Suso.
Valued at £31.5m by Transfermarkt, the Spaniard knocked in six goals and provided ten assists last season to further enhance a reputation which is growing year on year.
At just 24, Suso has plenty more time to develop further, and while Milan will always be a huge club, they are some way off challenging for honours over in Italy. Skillful, good on the ball, and with a keen eye for goal, Suso would surely be a welcomed addition back to the ranks with Spurs.
While Spurs do have plenty in terms of attacking midfield options, Suso would add an element of creativity for when the likes of Christian Eriksen aren’t around, and would be a superb addition for Mauricio Pochettino’s men.
