It’s a new era at Arsenal, with the departure of manager Arsene Wenger, with former PSG boss Unai Emery stepping into the fold at the Emirates.
The Gunners have already been busy in the transfer market, signing Stephan Lichtsteiner from Juventus, and looking to add more quality and depth to a squad which came up short in its quest to challenge for the title and top four last term.
Here in the Tavern, some of our punters have been racking their brains alongside our landlord, trying to come up with players who the club could look to sign. After much deliberation, one player who kept getting mentioned was Italian youngster Federico Chiesa, who is valued at £31.5m by Transfermarkt.
Still only 20, the youngster had an exceptional season last term, contributing six goals and nine assists, and he will be hoping to further enhance his reputation further over this summer.
Chiesa is already looking like being a quality player who can go on to be one of the best in the world. His ability with the ball, knack of getting into goal scoring situations, and general natural ability in attacking areas, make him an excellent prospect and one who should go on to have a successful career.
A move to Arsenal could be ideal for Chiesa, with the Gunners set for an exciting few seasons under their new manager.
