The Arsenal fans in the Football Transfer Tavern are expecting their side to dominate West Ham on Saturday…
The Gunners have made a stellar start to the Premier League season, and their fans in the Tavern are loving life under Wenger once more.
Though they currently sit in 4th, they are just 3 points away from the top of the Premier League – and given how unpredictable this campaign has been so far – anything could happen on a weekly basis.
Standing in their way to a potential table-topping weekend is West Ham, who have struggled so far this season. Their move to the London Stadium has proven to be difficult to manoeuvre for Slaven Bilic – and in truth, Arsenal are expecting to win the game convincingly.
However, as with any game in the Premier League – Wenger must expect a tough one; and as a result, his team selection must be absolutely perfect.
With that said, Wenger must field this Arsenal XI to brush aside West Ham on Saturday…
GK – Petr Cech

Petr Cech has been solid since arriving at Arsenal, and he is a guaranteed starter for them against West Ham.
LB – Nacho Monreal

Nacho Monreal has been good this year, and whilst he is rarely spectacular – he is always consistent.
CB – Shkodran Mustafi

Shkodran Mustafi has actually looked a bit shaky in recent weeks, but there is no doubting his quality in the heart of the Arsenal defence.
He will continue to play.

CB – Laurent Koscielny

Laurent Koscielny is the leader in this defence, and he has formed a decent partnership with Mustafi since the German arrived.
He was very good last weekend.
(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
RB – Carl Jenkinson

Carl Jenkinson has been brought back from obscurity this season, and injuries to Debuchy and Bellerin mean that he will likely be given a starting berth.
He will need to perform well in order to keep his place.
(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
CM – Granit Xhaka

Granit Xhaka has been criticised by the Arsenal fans in the Tavern somewhat as of late, but he looked fairly solid at the weekend.
Expect him to retain his place.
(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
CM – Aaron Ramsey

Aaron Ramsey has been out of sorts lately, but he is never too far away from a good performance.
Could that come this weekend?
(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
LW – Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain

Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain is enjoying a bit of a resurgence at Arsenal this season – and the Gunners in the Tavern are delighted that he is finally back to his best.
Expect him to continue to threaten down the side. He will likely swap wings frequently.
(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
CAM – Mesut Ozil

Mesut Ozil has actually come under a bit of criticism in the Tavern as of late, but there is no doubting his role within this team.
A poor Ozil is still a good player – and he will start.
(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
RW – Theo Walcott

Theo Walcott has been in the goals over the last few weeks, and that has helped push the Gunners over the line.
He is always a threat.
(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
ST – Alexis Sanchez

With Giroud injured, Sanchez will likely take up the mantle as the main striker.
He has been scoring for fun lately, and has quickly emerged as one of Europe’s most deadly forwards. The Arsenal fans in the Tavern think that he is better up front than he is on the wing.
(function(){var ids=["snack_dex5","snack_dex6"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-d:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})(); (function(){var ids=["snack_mex4","snack_mex5","snack_mex6","snack_mex7"];var els=document.querySelectorAll("div.snack-rpt-m:not([id])");for(var i=0;i<els.length&&i<ids.length;i++){els[i].id=ids[i];}})();
You can always expect a goal.
