Our Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern are looking forward to games once more as they know, whilst things aren’t perfect, they’re looking better than earlier this season.
The Red Devils looked set for another year of discontent earlier on in this campaign with many questioning whether Jose Mourinho had what it takes to return the club back to the top of the Premier League table.
Indeed, he hasn’t managed to do so yet, but the signs are looking more positive that he will in due course.
The Portuguese boss now appears to know his best team and looks set to stick with it as much as possible with the obvious few ins and outs that will come over the course of the campaign.
Our landlord thinks he knows it, too, and reckons this 4-3-3 will beat West Ham tomorrow to help the club continue in their quest for the top four…
GK: David De Gea
The best in the league and arguably the best in the world.
If United want Champions League football next season they’ll need De Gea as fit as possible for every game.
RB: Antonio Valencia
Valencia is no longer a winger and that is testament to his hard work at mastering the right back area.
United do not desperately need to replace him and that speaks volumes over his ability.
CB: Marcos Rojo
Rojo should continue as Eric Bailly gets near match fitness.
Expect the Argentine to be out of the side soon, though, once the likes of the Ivorian are back up to speed.

Jones has done well this season and deserves to be in with a shout of starting even when United’s whole team is fit.

Carrick is a big part of why United have improved recently.
