With Pep Guardiola coming into Manchester City the regular fans of the club in Transfer Tavern, are always talking about where the club could be heading in the future.
The Catalan comes into the club following successful spells at Bayern Munich and Barcelona with the task of returning the club to the top of the Premier League, as well as making them a force to be reckoned with in Europe.
City went out at the semi-final stage in last season’s premier European competition – the furthest they had ever got -but went out with a rather less than convincing display against eventual champions Real Madrid.
That performance among others last season highlighted the weaknesses the playing squad and with Guardiola arriving looking to implement his tiki-taka playing style, he’ll be sure to wield the axe on any players he deems surplus to requirements.
The City revolution is under way then, and our landlord thinks getting rid of this FOUR will be part of that……

Jesus Navas
Navas seemed to be a personal favourite of previous manager Manuel Pellegrini, but as to why is anyone’s guess.
The Spaniard’s pace is a real asset but his final delivery is wayward far too often for a Premier League player, and Guardiola will not stand for that.
Pep also likes his wingers to be technically very good and Navas unfortunately falls short as he can only really be employed out wide.
Yaya Toure
Guardiola didn’t want Toure at Barca so it’s unlikely he’ll want him now.
The Ivorian has been one of City’s best players in turning them into the team they are today. but he is beginning to show signs of decline in his ability.
As well as this he’s never been the most mobile of players and that’s only going to get worse, so it’s almost nailed on that the former Monaco man will be on his way out of the Etihad.
Wilfried Bony
It just simply hasn’t worked for Wilfried Bony at the club.
The Ivorian came to Man City on the back of very good goal-scoring performances for Swansea but inevitably fell behind Sergio Aguero in the pecking order.
Bony evidently lacks confidence and is another player who will not fit the Guardiola blueprint given his way of playing.
He’s a good striker though so should be able to still cut it at the top level with another club.
Eliaquim Mangala
Naturally any team without Vincent Kompany in their side would struggle and Manchester City are no different.
However the lengths at which Mangala has struggled are particularly alarming and his new boss will surely want to improve on City’s back line.
For all his attacking coaching Guardiola has always had a solid defence too and put simply Mangala just won’t be solid enough.
