It has not been the start to the season most Arsenal fans had hoped for.
The summer signing of Alexis Sanchez had Gunners fans convinced this would be the year in which they launched a serious title challenge.
But Sunday’s routine defeat at Stamford Bridge has left Arsene Wenger’s side trailing the league leaders by nine points already, whilst their Champions League defeat to Borussia Dortmund a few weeks ago suggests they won’t be capable of launching a European challenge either.
The international break is a time to reflect for Arsenal fans, on what has gone wrong and what has gone right during the opening two months of the season.
