Euro 2016 is fast approaching!
Not long until the tournament in France kicks off with Europe’s best sides going head to head to claim the biggest prize in European football.
Manchester City fans here in the Transfer Tavern will watch several of their biggest stars compete this summer, but with Pep Guardiola looking to take over the side, City supporters can expect a few of Euro 2016’s biggest stars to perhaps head to the Etihad.
City have infinite amounts of money to spend and a great manager and therefore, plenty of players will want to join the Manchester club.
In order to improve on this season’s fourth place finish, City must strengthen…. So, here are FIVE Euro 2016 strikers that Guardiola should look to bring to Manchester in the summer……

Robert Lewandowski
Any introduction needed here? Lewandowski is as lethal as any striker on the planet and netted 30 goals for Bayern Munich this season, the first man to do so in 39 years.
Lewandowski even managed to score 5 goals in 9 minutes against Wolfsburg in September.
Lewandowski will surely be ripping the net in Group C where he will face Germany, Northern Ireland and Ukraine.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic
Yet another striker here who needs no description.
Ibrahimovic is a free agent after leaving PSG and the Swedish captain will surely be playing his last international tournament in France this summer.
The 34-year-old has scored an astonishing 62 goals for his country and has won league titles just about everywhere… except for England.
However Zlatan has a rough relationship with Guardiola, so City fans should not expect to see Zlatan at the Etihad any time soon (at least not in a sky blue shirt).
Antoine Griezmann
Griezmann has had a phenomenal season with Atletico Madrid scoring over 30 goals.
The French striker will presumably be leading the line for the host nation this summer, but has a Champions League final against Real Madrid to look forward to in just over a weeks time.
The 25-year-old will face Romania, Albania and Switzerland for the French side and if you haven’t seen him play already, you will see exactly why any Premier League side would be lucky to have him if you catch his pace, skills and shooting ability throughout the tournament.
Alvaro Morata
At just 23 years old, Morata has played for heavyweight clubs in both Spain and Italy, Real Madrid and Juventus.
The Spanish striker has plenty of potential and will surely be scoring lots of goals in Group D, where he will face the Czech Republic, Turkey and Croatia.
Morata was named in the side ahead of Diego Costa and Fernando Torres, which already goes to show just how talented the youngster really is.
Thomas Muller
This would be the most incredible of signings.
Muller has been in Guardiola’s Bayern Munich side for the past few seasons and of course been scoring goals for fun.
The 26- year-old won the Golden boot at the 2010 World Cup and scored 32 goals this season while claiming 12 assists in the process.
The German will surely add to his 31 international goals this summer where he faces Ukraine, Poland and Northern Ireland in Group C.
