The Manchester United fans here in the Transfer Tavern have been largely miserable this season after a fairly average campaign, which could end without a trophy yet again.
Decent results against Arsenal and Manchester City have given them reason for optimism of late and they also have an FA Cup Semi-Final to look forward to as well.
The supporters are keen to see big changes in the summer however with boss Louis van Gaal under serious pressure to be sacked, and replaced by former Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho.
The Portuguese manager would be a controversial choice with some of the Red Devils faithful but he is a natural winner and would ruffle a few feathers at Old Trafford.
One United fan is enjoying a pint in the Tavern and he thinks the manager is nailed on to the get the boot in the summer, stating that Mourinho would be perfect for rebuilding a distinctly average looking squad of players.

Memphis Depay
The Dutch winger was signed by Manchester United last summer and has failed to live up to his initial billing.
Signed by Louis van Gaal, the Holland international was expected to take the Premier League by storm but that simply hasn’t been the case.
It doesn’t seem likely that Depay will be a Jose Mourinho sort of player and should the Portuguese boss arrive, the youngster’s days undoubtedly be numbered.
Depay isn’t a bad footballer but his struggles in the Premier League simply highlight how bad the Eredivisie actually is.
Phil Jones
Whilst I don’t think Jones is a bad defender he just simply doesn’t play enough games in a season, for Mourinho to warrant keeping him around Old Trafford.
Jones is injury prone to say the very least, and at times when United have been crying out for a defender, he simply hasn’t been able to stay fit enough to prove his worth to the team.
The ex-Blackburn Rovers man is versatile enough to operate in a number of positions, which does aid his case for being kept on, but for me the time has come for United to cut Jones loose and search for a more reliable defender.
Marouane Fellaini
The Belgian midfielder was a strange signing in the first place having been signed by David Moyes during his tenure at Old Trafford.
Mourinho is reportedly already planning his squad ahead of his move to Manchester United and it is fairly safe to say Fellaini will not be in it.
The midfielder simply offers nothing to the team and spends more time trying to elbow his way through a game rather than trying to influence it.
Barely a Premier League player let alone a Manchester United player, Fellaini’s time at Old Trafford is seemingly coming to an end.
Jesse Lingard
I can’t see for the life of me Jose Mourinho giving the ordinary Lingard a regular run in the team like Louis van Gaal has, and a move away from Old Trafford could be on the horizon.
The youngster was on loan with Derby County last season and wasn’t overly impressive during that spell, so when he was handed a Manchester United squad place earlier in the season it came as some surprise.
Lingard has done okay when called upon but with Mourinho targeting players of higher calibre, the versatile forward could become surplus to requirements at Old Trafford.
Antonio Valencia
As good as Valencia has been for Manchester United, the likelihood of Jose Mourinho keeping him at Old Trafford seems slim.
The Ecuadorian has barely played this season after struggling with injury problems, and that will do little to convince the ex-Chelsea man that he still has a future with the club.
Mourinho will want his own players to be signed at Old Trafford and the amount of squad players on the books will be trimmed right back, which could be bad news for the right-winger.
Valencia is quick and has been a great servant to United but it hard to imagine Mourinho keeping him around once he arrives.
