It has been close to a perfect start to the season for Chelsea.
A late equaliser conceded against Manchester City has been the only downer on what has so farr been a fine start to the season and more so because it was Frank Lampard who got the goal.
Jose Mourinho’s side lead the Premier League by five points with Manchester United eight points behind and Liverpool and Arsenal already a massive nine points off the top.
The Blues are showing everyone just why they are the bookmakers’ favourites for the title this season with the summer signings of Diego Costa and Cesc Fabregas giving Mourinho’s side a completely different edge.
The Spanish duo have got nine goals and six assists between them already this season and even at this early stage, it is looking a question of who can stop the Blues rampaging towards a fourth Premier League table.
One other significant change has been in goal with Thibaut Courtois taking over from Petr Cech.
Rumours have been flying that Cech is set to leave in January in search of regular first team football.
