Rumours are circulating in the tavern over the future of Manchester United midfielder Morgan Schneiderlin, amid speculation of an imminent bid from new Everton boss Ronald Koeman.
After an excellent spell at Southampton under Koeman, Schneiderlin was expected to kick on and cement his place in Van Gaal’s new look United side last season, but that unfortunately did not happen.
After a relatively disappointing campaign, it seems that Jose Mourinho is not willing to gamble on the midfielder and may be open to selling.
Mourinho has garnered a reputation as having a ruthless transfer policy, so here at the tavern we don’t think Schneiderlin will be the only player on the move this summer.
In fact, our landlord thinks we might be see some big names leave Old Trafford this summer.
Here are FIVE players who could follow Schneiderlin out of Man Utd this summer……

Juan Mata

Expected to become the first casualty of the Mourinho regime; Juan Mata knows how ruthless his new manager can be first hand.
After winning back to back player of the year club awards during his time with Chelsea, Mourinho came in and had sold the Spaniard within 6 months, despite his fantastic form and popularity with the Chelsea faithful.
Mourinho’s view is that his players must fit his playing style; and Juan Mata simply does not fit that mould.
If Mourinho retains the same viewpoint over his players; Mata will almost certainly be on the move this summer.
Ashley Young

Another winger that might be on the move this summer is Ashley Young.
Now at 30 years old, Young has been an excellent servant to the club, but with the club now insistent on giving youth talent a chance there may be no place for Young in the team anymore.
Also rumoured in the tavern is a number of attacking arrivals; leaving Young with even less of a chance in the first team.
Ashley is certainly not young anymore, and he will almost certainly be looking for the first team football; something that he wont be able to get at Old Trafford.
A move could work out well for both parties.
Memphis Depay

Memphis Depay was another player brought in with a lot of hype last summer; but like so many others he failed to reach expectations.
After a season of inconsistent performances and after losing his place in the first team; it may be time for Depay and United to cut their losses.
Mourinho will not tolerate inconsistency in his side, and that description summarised the performances of the Dutch winger last season.
Marcos Rojo

Whilst Marcus Rojo looked impressed at the beginning of his time with United, last season was a very poor one for the defender.
He suffered a number of injuries, one which kept him out for over three months, and was also indicted in a number of off-field incidents.
With Eric Bailly now at the club, with more signings expected; it is unlikely that Rojo will find his way back into that United side.
With rumours that the player himself is interested in a move away; this one makes a lot of sense.
Phil Jones

Phil Jones was brought in at United after performing well against the club whilst Sir Alex Ferguson was in charge, with the manager touting him as a future captain at the club.
In his first season he impressed; but since then it has all been down hill for the young defender.
Injuries have marred his career, and this has lead to his progression stagnating; eventually losing a regular place in the side last year.
In order for his career to develop he needs game time, and for that he needs to move away from Old Trafford. He simply isn’t good enough in his current form for Jose Mourinho to give him a chance.
