Its fair to say that this season has not been the best for the fans at Goodison Park.
Aside from good progress made in the cup competitions this season, their league form has been anything but consistent.
Poor form has seen the club suffer and this has brought criticism from many fans at Goodison Park, for what have been some very lacklustre performance from their boys in blue.
With the club still hopeful of achieving a place in the Europa League come May, many fans believe their best route to Europe now is by winning the FA Cup, a task made harder after being drawn to face Chelsea in next month’s quarter-final stage.
Many of the Goodison faithful have now turned their attentions to who should stay and who should go come the end of the season, and with Tim Howard looking set to be the first big name to leave via the exit door for America, our landlord here in the Transfer Tavern has been looking through Everton’s squad for FIVE others who could follow the American out of Goodison Park.

Arouna Kone
The popular frontman could be set for a summer move away from the club following the January signing of Oumar Niasse.
Kone always gives 110% when he puts the blue shirt on with relentless running and closing down, but he fails to get the goals required when playing as backup to Romelu Lukaku.
Martinez could be forced to sell Kone as he looks to balance the books at Goodison to bring in new blood for next season.
Leon Osman
The Everton stalwart’s time at Goodison Park could well be coming to the end come the summer, due to the amount of players ahead of him for a coveted midfield spot.
He has spent his whole career as an Everton player, making over 300 Premier League appearances.
Earlier in his career he spent time on loan at Football League clubs Carlisle United and Derby County.
Osman has earned two international caps for the England national team, making his debut at the age of 31.
Steven Pienaar
The South African midfielder is another who has found it hard to break into the first team at Goodison Park this season for one reason or another.
Pienaar has failed to hit the heights during his second spell at Goodison Park following his return to the club from Tottenham Hotspur in 2012.
On his day he was one of the best midfield players in the Premier League but injuries and lack of form over recent season have tainted his career and he could be set for a move to China or America during the off season.
Tony Hibbert
Another one club man who could be set for the exit door come the summer months.
Hibbert has come through the youth ranks at Goodison Park, and has not played a game elsewhere throughout his entire Everton career.
At 35 and with some fresh young blood coming through the ranks at Goodison Park it appears time is up for a man who has made over 300 appearances for the club.
The fans will be sorry to see him go but would be thankful for what he has achieved during his time with the club.
Romelu Lukaku
The Belgian forward has been in fine form for Everton yet again this season, and our landlord is sure that some of Europe’s big sides will be circulating around Goodison for his signature.
Lukaku has made it clear that he would like to play Champions League football sometime in the near future and with the likes of Chelsea, Manchester City and Manchester United struggling for goals this season, Lukaku could become an option for those clubs.
The Everton fans will be keen to hold on to the prolific Lukaku, it just remains to be seen if the board are willing to turn down a big money offer should one come in.
