Following an eventful day and night yesterday with transfer deadline day, the fans in The Transfer Tavern are having a well deserved drink and digesting the main talking points of the day.
What a day it was, where Stoke broke their club transfer record with the signing of Giannelli Imbula from Porto for £18.3 million and Everton landing a new striker to team up with Romelu Lukaku, with the signing of Lokomotiv Moscow front man Oumar Niasse for £13.5 million.
There was Sky Sports News with its usual over the top deadline day coverage, which involves Jim White bellowing at reporters for updates on possible incomings and outgoing a at respective clubs.
But in The Transfer Tavern tonight are fans of clubs who did not make a move during the window, which has left many feel their sides are showing a lack of desire to maintain their Premier League safety or fight for their place in the Champions League.

Aston Villa
Aston Villa had a majorly bad transfer window which will no doubt hit their chances of survival come the end of the season.
Not one single player arrived at Villa Park, even though they were linked with many potential targets who moved on to other clubs.
Reports suggest that the lack of incomings has made manager Remi Garde question his position with the club rooted to the foot of the table.
The Villa fans in The Transfer Tavern are absolutely disgusted by the lack of commitment shown by the club’s owner as they are now consigning themselves to Championship football next season.
Manchester United
Old Trafford was remarkably quiet place last night as the club failed to sign a single player during the window.
Apart from a failed loan move for Arsenal defender Mathieu Debuchy, there were no other enquiries about players from the Manchester club.
With cross city rivals Manchester City announcing the arrival of Pep Guardiola as manager from next season, fans at Old Trafford have been left with disappointed faces.
Is this a sign that the club have given up hope of achieving anything under Louis Van Gaal and that they will not be keeping him beyond the season’s end only time will tell.
Crystal Palace
It was in the end a frustrating window for Alan Pardew seeing only one player join the ranks at Selhurst player.
Moves for players such as Islam Slimani and Khoumar Babacar were called after their current club’s demanded fees that Crystal Palace thought were not worthwhile.
So all they have to show for their January efforts is a certain striker Emmanuel Adebayor and depending on which version of the striker turns up it could be the most frustrating time to be a Crystal Palace fan with regards to strike options.
West Bromwich Albion
Again speculation was rife about the future of striker Saido Berahino and where he was destined that Tony Pulis spent more time criticising the window rather than completing any deals.
But saying that the club have been consistent with their hatred of the January window having only paid for the services of one player during the last four.
Of the deals completed Sandro and Alex Pritchard arrived at The Hawthorns from QPR and Tottenham Hotspur respectively.
Leicester City
The Premier League leaders had been after a new striker to assist leading scorer Jamie Vardy and take some pressure of the England international’s shoulders.
Although Claudio Ranieri has agreed an £11.5 million fee to try and secure the services of Chelsea forward Louc Remy, the deal failed to come of with Remy opting to remain at Stamford Bridge.
The three players they did bring in have no experience of football in the top flight, so it appears that Ranieri will place his faith in the players who have led them to the top of the Premier League table in style so far this season.
