This could perhaps be the most controversial sentence in football history.
Wenger’s time has come and Arsenal need a change, and only a man with years of success,record,trophies and achievements is suitable to take over the helm at the Emirates, and perhaps that man is Jose Mourinho.
Mourinho and Wenger are known for disliking each other, the pair even had a touchline brawl during the 2014/15 season.
Wenger completely changed the dynamics of Arsenal football club winning six FA Cups and three league titles including most famously, a season unbeaten.
Likewise Mourinho came and conquered, winning back to back league titles as well as winning the FA cup and two League Cups.
Mourinho was then harshly sacked, won league titles in Italy and Spain as well as the Champions League before coming back to Chelsea and winning the title in his second year.
However, the Special One was sacked after Chelsea’s poor start to the season this year.

Specialist in failure
Since the second Mourinho arrived on English soil, Wenger has won 3 trophies, the FA Cup 3 times and that includes 9 trophy less years from 2005-2014.
Since Wenger last won the league (2004), Mourinho has won the Premier League 3 times, the FA Cup once, the league cup three times all with Chelsea, Serie A twice along with Coppa Italia, Supercoppa Italiana and the Champions League at Inter Milan as well as La Liga, the Copa Del Rey and the Supercopa de España with Real Madrid.
In fact the same season that Wenger last won the league, Mourinho won the Portuguese league and the Champions League… WITH PORTO.
Yes Wenger was successful in his first few years at Arsenal, but times have changed.
Wenger has never managed to win the Champions League whereas Mourinho has won it twice.
In just a short managerial career, Mourinho has surely surpassed Wenger’s achievements.
Boring, Boring Arsenal
Under Wenger, Arsenal are known for their great style of play.
It’s fantastic to watch as neutral and as a fan.
This season, however, it has not been nice to watch at all.
Arsenal struggle to score as they are so overly obsessed with possession and keeping the ball, it’s a nightmare to watch the team attack as you know that in a matter of seconds, the ball will be back with the defence.
Mourinho sides are often known to be boring, but who cares? Mourinho sides win, Wenger sides clearly don’t (anymore).
Mourinho gets his players playing out of their skin.
Under George Graham, fans would famously chant “boring boring Arsenal” just as fans did to Mourinho’s Chelsea last year, but the similarity between the two sides is, they both won the title.
Star players
Before this season, it was unheard of for players to not get on well with Mourinho.
Chelsea were certainly shocking this year, perhaps down to Mourinho but that aside, players, on the whole, love the Special One.
Mourinho managed Mesut Ozil at Real Madrid and the pair clearly get on well, Ozil gave Mourinho his shirt after a league cup clash in 2013.
Mourinho would not just keep Arsenal’s key players at the club such as Ozil and Alexis, he would attract Europe’s top players to the Emirates.
Judas Jose? It’s worked before
There isn’t a Tottenham fan in the world who doesn’t despise Sol Campbell.
The world was shocked on the day that Campbell made the switch across North London.
But it was a great move for Campbell’s career.
The shock of the move, perhaps played a part in Campbell’s success.
For Mourinho’s sake, this move may revitalise his career after his name was seemingly ruined this season.
For Arsenal’s sake, the move may be the change that the club have needed for some time.
Time for Change
Our landlord understands the anger and frustration that this season and the last few,in fact have brought upon the Gooners faithful.
But protesting the man who has transformed us, is very unjust.
That said, there is a large majority of fans who want Wenger Out. It’s always been said that “football is nothing without fans” and if its what the fans want then surely its time to move on.
If Mourinho ever did manage Arsenal, it would surely be a knife in Wenger’s back but if he wants the club to move forward, perhaps it’s the correct move?
