With today being the final day of the transfer window talk in The Transfer Tavern has begun about who could sign who and who could leave there.
Over at the pool table in The Tavern are a group of Manchester United fans who are discussing rumours of possible incomings at their club come the close of the window at 11pm.
The mood at the club at the moment is anything but harmonious with many fans at the club wanting current manager Louis Van Gaal removed from his position as manager of the football club.
So today could be the day that could show what the boss has to offer with regards to the players he can attract to the club as he looks to win over those fans who are now against him.
So the landlord here in The Transfer Tavern has set those fans a challenge to name five players they believe the club could possibly sign come 11pm tonight. The following are the five names they have come up with.

Renato Sanches

The young Benfica midfielder is regarded as one of the hottest prospects in world football and reports yesterday said a deal was close.
At just 18 years old he has taken to first team football with Portugese power houses like a duck to water, and earned rave reviews for his consistent running.
Thought to have a release clause of £60 million written into his contract, it is thought it could take a bid of just £30 million to secure his services.
Van Gaal has tried a manor of different options throughout the season and no one has really taken advantage of their opportunity and Van Gaal has taken the decision to strengthen the problem area.
It is reported that officials from both clubs have met to discuss Sanches and deal could be close so don’t be surprised to see him sign at some point today.
Marquinhos
Yet another linked with a move to Old Trafford for a majority of the window, the Paris St Germain defender could give the United defence the wall that they have lacked for much of the season- and reports have suggested a last-minute swoop.
Still just 21, Marquinhos has managed 60 appearances for the current Ligue 1 leaders over the last three seasons, and has earnt his reputation as a no nonsense defender who is not afraid to get stuck into a challenge.
It appears that United are not alone when it comes to their admiration for the young defender with Spanish giants Barcelona also considering making an offer for the defender.
Ever Banega

The tenacious Argentinian is another linked with a move to Old Trafford, with reports of a late move being raised last week.
Banega has played a major role in Sevilla’s side for many seasons and his stand out performances for the La Liga have won him praise from many admirers.
He would add a wealth of European experience to the Manchester United midfield and that creative spark that the side have been missing for the last few seasons.
Van Gaal is said to be a massive fan of the Argentinian ace and although Sevilla have said they have received no firm interest in their player don’t be surprised to see a late offer from United come in at some point today.
Ahmed Musa

The Nigerian international attacker has been linked with a move to Premier League leaders Leicester City for most of the window but it now appears that Van Gaal has his eye on the player.
At 23 Musa can either play up front or in the wing and has been plying his trade for the past few years in the Russian Premier League with CSKA Moscow.
Musa has played over 130 times for CSKA and has scored 35 times during his time with the club.
Musa is a fast attacking player who would improve the sides counter attacking abilities, which has severely lacked so far this season.
Claudio Bravo

The Barcelona goalkeeper is attracting interest from Old Trafford as a potential replacement for David De Gea, per reports last week.
With Real Madrid’s transfer embargo suspended and club president Florentino Perez naming De Gea his number one target for January, Bravo is being considered as the ideal replacement by Van Gaal.
If a bid does come in for De Gea don’t be surprised seeing Bravo being paraded around Old Trafford with the club’s goalkeeper jersey come 11pm tonight.
At 32 and with over 5oo career appearances to his name Bravo will add experience to what is young back four at Old Trafford.
