Ask any Arsenal supporter here in the Transfer Tavern and they would rave about Tomas Rosicky.
When he is on the field, his play is electric and has the trickiness to put any defence off.
However, injuries have been a major problem throughout his lengthy stay at Arsenal. Often, Arsenal fans would wonder how good he could be if he was able to stay healthy for a full season.
Regardless of how many times Rosicky stepped on the field, he was quite fantastic. There were many times throughout the campaigns where Rosicky could solve the problems, but he was on the sidelines. No one would deny the abilities he possesses.
He is more than likely gone after this season, but Arsenal needs to replace him properly.
He gave energy, tenacity, and creativity. Those traits are important for any squad to have.
This summer will be important for Wenger and his staff to provide a replacement.

Isco (Real Madrid)
Already rumoured to buy the Madrid playmaker, this player would be the perfect solution to Rosicky leaving.
He has the creativity and the vision to fit in to the current side, where Rosicky wouldn’t.
Isco is on the fringes at Real Madrid and our locals believe Wenger could tempted him to North London.
The one attribute that Isco needs to maintain his energy. Rosicky would run with the same attitude in the first minute and the 90th minute.
If Isco can accept this role and understand how the Arsenal side plays, this would be a dream, potentially title changing, signing.
Hakan Calhanoglu (Bayer Leverkusen)
The young Turkish footballer has been linked to Arsenal before the 2014 World Cup and with his continued development in Germany, Calhanoglu could fill in for Rosicky.
With him turning 22 on the 8th of February, he has plenty of promising years ahead of him.
One characteristic that Calhanoglu and Rosicky share is their creativity.
Both try clever passes and are opportunistic. With that said, Calhanoglu also knows how to play simple and make sure there are free flowing passes, something I’m sure Wenger loves to see.
With his potential not yet reached, this is a player to buy now and see his value increase exponentially.
Miralem Pjanic (AS Roma)
This Bosnian superstar would be welcomed at the Emirates and his playing styles resembles Rosicky.
The passing ability is exceptional and can seek out the occasional goal if asked.
He drives the midfield with his penetrating ideas and is not afraid to track back and play both sides of the ball. Something Arsenal fans love to see.
The locals at the Tavern know the importance of the proper replacements and they think Pjanic should seriously be considered.
He has been successful in Roma, but with a change in managers, who knows whether Pjanic will be in the future plans. If not, Arsenal should snag him.
Moussa Sissoko (Newcastle)
In the current Arsenal squad, they could use some more squad players.
Sissoko has done great at Newcastle and could impact the club off the bench and the occasional start.
Since he’s been at Newcastle, he has proven to keep driving at defences and is not afraid to take a defender on, something Rosicky did in his prime consistently and successfully.
One complaint about Sissoko is his inconsistent play, but with the idea of using him once every few games, supporters hope he will be on his game when he does play.
Also, the price for Sissoko shouldn’t be as high as Isco and Pjanic, so this replacement for Rosicky is also an affordable one.
Mario Gotze (Bayern Munich)
Since moving to Bayern, he hasn’t found his proper footing in the squad and could be out.
Although the work ethic is nowhere near like Rosicky’s, Gotze’s creativity and passing are exceptional. Rotating Gotze with an already established nucleus of Sanchez, Ozil, and Walcott would be amazing.
Gotze would have to accept less playing time, but he could add some more attacking mindset and not be afraid to thread the needle.
Our punters think that Arsenal don’t take enough chances and Gotze could help solve that.
This would be a big signing as well to signify intent to win every trophy possible.
