If there is one thing you can normally guarantee in the summer, it is that Manchester City will go out and spend millions of pounds on some top quality new players.
Over the years, City have spent huge sums on the likes of Kevin De Bruyne, John Stones, and Raheem Sterling, and this summer should be no different.
The City fans here in the Transfer Tavern are excited to see who Pep Guardiola will look to bring in, and a lot of the talk at the bar has been about which big money signings the club will bring in.
The City squad is ageing, and despite still being in the mix for the top four, the club needs an overhaul and some young fresh players to be brought.
Our landlord seems to concur that City need some fresh players, and we agree.
With this in mind, we have taken a look at TWO players Man City should look to sign in the summer…
Antoine Griezmann

The French striker is one of the hottest properties in European football at the moment, and Guardiola might well choose to go for the classy strike ace.
Griezmann was one of the stars of the European Championships in the summer, and a move away from Athletico is looking increasingly likely for the forward.
He would add another dimension to the City attack, and would fit in well with Guardiola and his system.
Thiago Alcantra

If there is one player who Guardiola loves, it is Thiago.
Pep brought Thiago to Bayern Munich from Barcelona after being adamant the German club signed the Spanish star.
He would not come cheap at all, but if City want to progress to the next level, then Thiago is the sort of player they need to be looking to sign.
