However, as a world renowned player reaching the twilight of his career, a lack of game time was always going to lead to speculation about a departure – and that is exactly what has come to the foreground in recent days. According to the Sun, both Liverpool and Man Utd are keen – leaving the fans in the Transfer Tavern in deep conversation about where the future may lie for Fabregas.
A move to Man Utd would certainly suit his aspirations, given their standing in Europe, whilst Liverpool are a team on the up – and Chelsea stay certainly hasn’t been ruled out.
In fact, fans seem to think a Chelsea stay is the best course of action for Fabregas – with a whopping 61% of fans fearing that a move to either Liverpool or Man Utd would be a bad decision. In fact, just 14% of fans think that Man Utd would be a good home for the Spaniard – whilst just 25% of fans want to see him move to Liverpool.
