The record-breaking capture of Paul Pogba earlier this summer sent the Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern into a state of frenzy.

Having previously struggled in the transfer market, Ed Woodward finally delivered a bonafide world superstar to the Old Trafford doors.

Now, the Red Devils in the Transfer Tavern are hell-bent on securing stellar names from all over the continent on an annual basis.

Recent links with the likes of Antonie Griezmann and Gareth Bale sent the punters propping up the bar into a frenzy as they dreamt of a side littered with illustrious talent.

However, the recent transfer bans imposed on the Madrid clubs may well have scuppered such deals for the next year or so at least.

The news rocked the United faithful in the Tavern, though it’s hard to feel too much sympathy for them, considering they boast the likes of Pogba and Zlatan Ibrahimovic already.
