AFC Wimbledon will travel to the ABAX Stadium to face high-flying Peterborough United on Tuesday night.
In contrast to the Posh, the Dons are currently at the wrong end of the table and have found it difficult to pick up results.
Still yet to appoint a successor following Neil Ardley’s departure, interim boss Simon Bassey continues to oversee the team and will be looking to build on their 2-1 win at home to Southend United at the weekend.
Kwesi Appiah remains a doubt for the contest against Peterborough as he picked up a dead leg in the win against Southend at the weekend and needed to come off in the first half.
However, Joe Pigott will likely replace him in the attack should the Ghana international not be able to recover in time.
The Verdict:

Wimbledon are in desperate need of picking up points in League One, as they currently sit second-bottom alongside Bradford City on 14 points.
The win against Southend would have given the side some much-needed confidence and would have lifted those around the club and Bassey will be looking for his side to build upon that.
Appiah’s potential absence will be a blow to the Dons, however, Pigott is a more than capable replacement for the Ghanian, as he has struck four goals in his 19 league appearances so far this season.
