Agent: In-form Man United and Spurs target ‘sure’ of move

Topic of debate amongst the Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United fans in the Transfer Tavern has centred around one man and one man alone of late.

Following his stunning form in Istanbul, Galatasaray winger Bruma has been linked with both clubs in recent months as the January transfer window fast approaches.

Across his 11 games this term, the 22-year-old has notched four goals and recorded a further three assists for the Turkish titans and is thought to be of serious interest.

While both Spurs and United are well-stocked in wide areas right now, recent reports from the Sun suggest Jose Mourinho is keen on an £8m January move to bring his countryman to Old Trafford.

He’s only under contract in the Turkish capital until the end of next season and his agent has been talking to Sport Witness over the notion of him moving to these shores.

Though Cátio Baldé has revealed there are currently no concrete discussions with potential Premier League suitor, he’s openly stated his client is all but certain he will eventually be purchased after his breakthrough season in the Süper Lig.

“There are English and German clubs who follow Bruma weekly”, he said.

”What’s happened is that there hasn’t been an advance until now. Anything can happen in December.”

“He wants to play in the Premier League and he’s sure he’ll be bought.”

For their part, Galatasaray are understood to have offered him a new deal, though interest from England is said to be rife.
