The Man Utd fans in the Transfer Tavern are keeping an eye on all of their side’s players that are competing in the World Cup this summer.
Much of Man Utd’s first team squad has made the trip to Russia, owing to their stellar personal performance this season, and that’s a testament to the quality of the team.
One player that made the trip and has already played for his country is Nemanja Matic. He represented Serbia in a winning effort against Costa Rica.

Naturally, this led to a lot of responses from Man Utd supporters, and there is a recurring comment being made by many fans online – they want Matic to try and convince Serbia star Sergej Milinković-Savić to join the club.
Indeed, they’re calling for the Man Utd man – who has been named Agent Matic – to do all he can this summer to get his talented midfield partner to swap Lazio for Old Trafford.
A technically gifted midfielder with an eye for a goal, Savic would be a good fit at the club.
