The 1990s was a fantastic decade for Rangers.
During that time, the Ibrox outfit won nine out of a possible 10 Scottish Premiership titles, with Glasgow rivals Celtic winning the other one. Not only that, they were able to witness some wonderful players in the blue shirt. The likes of Brian Laudrup, Paul Gascoigne, Gennaro Gattuso, Giovanni van Bronckhorst and Andrei Kanchelskis are just some of the illustrious names to appear for the club.

Argentinian Gabriel Amato is another who featured for Rangers during that time, and the club’s supporters have been able to reminisce about him due to a video shared by the club’s official Twitter account. The clip features him weaving his way through the Aberdeen defence before putting the ball into the back of the net.
The club’s supporters have clearly been enjoying the goal, and they have shared their thoughts on the social media platform. One described him as a ‘cult hero‘ whilst another claimed he could ‘nutmeg a mermaid‘.
