‘An absolute pleasure’, ‘Our future’ - Arsenal fans are full of praise for starter after stellar display

The Arsenal fans in the Transfer Tavern have had more than a few concerns about their side’s defence this season. The Gunners have looked very leaky at the back this term, and with goals being conceded left, right and centre, Arsene Wenger certainly has had his work cut out.

Against West Ham on Tuesday night, the apprehension amongst our resident Gunners was at an all-time low, with the duo of Calum Chambers and Rob Holding selected by Arsene Wenger. Neither player has covered themselves in glory thus far this season, and so the game could have gone either way.

Fortunately for Arsenal, it went their way on the night, with their defence putting in a stellar performance. Standing tall at the end of the game were Arsenal’s defensive duo Holding and Chambers, with the latter performing particularly well.

He took to Twitter after the game to reflect on the fixture, and it’s pretty clear that he’s very happy. However, he’s not quite as happy as the Arsenal faithful, who have responded to his Tweet in their droves.
