  1. Your comments about the Mcliesh protesters at Villa Park in June this year is disrespectful to the hundreds of fans that turned up to show unity in the decision to promote a relegated manager to the Villa managers job.Apart from a small number who caused some mild embarrassement, the majority were Aston Villa fans whio love there team so much that a protest was the only way to try and get there views across to a chairman who would appear to have lost interest in all thing Aston Villa

  2. Thanks for your comment.

Protesting is never the answer, no matter how strongly you feel.

The biggest way to support your club is to respect and put your faith in the boards decisions. NOT rebel.

  3. Sam
Only just seen your reply to my comment.
I disagree with your reply. The hundreds that went to Villa Park on that day are worth more than any other villa fan I know.
Just so you are aware, Ive been Villa for 40 years, season ticket holder for 20 years and have paid more money on the team I love that if my wife found out she would divorce me for football adultery.
When/if it goes to shit at Villa, at least I and hundred more didn’t sit on our arses and accept it
It was not the fact he was the scums manager but that he did not have the cv for the job and we rewarded his failure with the Villa job
Gave up my season ticket because I am disulusioned with the way my club is been run and football in general.
So don’t knock anyone who loves this club

    1. How someone chooses to show their support for their club is entirely up to them.

Obviously, we show our support in different ways. You have every right to do what you like. I have every right to condemn it or support it. Same to you, it works both ways.

Your obviously set in your ways. Fair enough. I’m not going to try and change that.

But I don’t agree with your opinion – at all.

If we happen to win silver wear under this manager, don’t bother waving your scarf in the air.

  4. So 10,000 less fans at Villa Park should tell you something even if you do not seem to accept that we all have our own opinion on why this is a fact
The reason imo is that we have become the selling club for the manc clubs and of course AM as manager.
Don’t get me wrong(but I think you have)I love this club and what sucess, but I think you are been highly optimistic that this season will bring a cup to Villa.
As for waving my scarf, I have done more than that in my Villa lifetime and will always be proud Villa.
Lastly, you need to appreciate why 10,000 villa fans feel like me, but your comments seem to want to give the impression that if you don’t support this club, 100% in the present, you are no longer recognised as a Villa fan
This will be my finalcomment on this subject but I would be interested to hear your comments again in the new year and see if you still feel like waving that scarf even if we are in the bottom 3
