Angry Arsenal fans have issued a demand to Emery

Arsenal picked up a win against Blackpool on Wednesday, and that is just what Unai Emery needed. The Gunners have been doing well in the Premier League, but a title charge may be a step too far this term. So, the opportunity of winning silverware in domestic cups cannot be undervalued.

Fortunately, the Arsenal team impressed, with most players putting in a strong performance.

However, one player that has drawn the ire of Arsenal fans is Petr Cech. The goalkeeper almost conceded a goal after a howler gifted possession back to Blackpool, and whilst he got away with that one, it didn’t go unnoticed amongst fans.

Indeed, many Arsenal fans have since sent a message to Unai Emery – they don’t want Cech to be anywhere close to the team against Liverpool.

Of course, with Bernd Leno now available, it’s clear that fans seriously prefer the German – and against Liverpool’s deadly attack, they clearly want him to be involved. Liverpool have been lethal going forward this season, and so Emery needs all the help he can get.
