It’s been a wonderful few days for the West Ham United fans in the Transfer Tavern, who are delighted to have seen their slow summer in the market pick up the pace of late.
Indeed, the signing of Joe Hart looks like being followed up by the arrivals of both Marko Arnautovic and Javier Hernandez and life at the London Stadium paints a pretty happy picture right now. So, recent comments from the West Ham Way – relayed by the Daily Express – with a move for Arsenal midfielder Jack Wilshere have split opinion amongst our resident Irons.
The England international is undoubtedly a huge talent, though his progress in recent years has been plagued by injury problems and the 25-year-old failed to pull up any trees while on loan with Bournemouth last season.
