Glasgow Rangers’ capture of Scott Arfield has proven to be a shrewd piece of business.
The 19-time Canada international joined the Gers on a free transfer from Burnley two years ago and he has done magnificently since then. He has made 94 Light Blues appearances in all competitions, scoring 21 goals and providing 12 assists along the way – he managed 10 goals and seven assists in the Scottish Premiership alone last year despite featuring in midfield.

He has produced some fantastic moments, with one of the very best coming against fierce Glasgow rivals Celtic this time last year. The Gers prevailed 2-0 in that game, with Arfield scoring the second goal following some wonderful build-up play to put him in a position to slot the ball into the back of the net. [via BBC]
