The Football Transfer Tavern is packed tonight after another tasty Saturday of Premier League action as the title race hots up.

All of the pre-match talk around the bar ahead of Arsenal’s home match against Fulham was about the latest transfer speculation emerging from Metro.

The paper brang reports that the Gunners are set to fight it out with Chelsea as they attempt to land Paris Saint Germian starlet Adrien Rabiot.

The 18-year-old has already made over 20 appearances for the Ligue 1 champions, but he could be allowed to leave with the money-bags club set to strengthen their squad again in the next few weeks.

His current contract expires next year and as yet the paper suggests that no talks have been held about a possible extension with the Parc Des Princes club.

Rabiot is rated very thought of in France as the next big thing for both club and country and it comes as no real surprise to see Arsene Wenger looking at the youngster again.

Wenger has reportedly tried to lure him to the Emirates Stadium in the past and Gooners in the tavern believe he is likely to try again given Rabiot’s uncertain contractual situation.
