Arsenal remain firmly in the hunt for a truly historic campaign.
Although recent weeks brought disappointment with defeat in the EFL Cup final and an FA Cup exit against Southampton, Mikel Arteta’s side are still fighting on two major fronts.
The Gunners have booked their place in the Champions League final against Paris Saint-Germain and sit just three games away from potentially lifting a first Premier League title since the iconic 2003/04 season.
Even with the season entering its defining stretch, attention is already beginning to drift towards the summer transfer window — and Arsenal appear to be moving early behind the scenes.
Arsenal In Talks for Barcola
Arsenal are reportedly in discussions with the representatives of Paris Saint-Germain winger Bradley Barcola ahead of a possible summer move.
The France international — labelled “superb” by PSG manager Luis Enrique — has become one of Europe’s most sought-after young attackers following another impressive campaign in Ligue 1.
According to Sky Sports, Arsenal are among several elite clubs tracking the 22-year-old, with Liverpool and Barcelona also showing strong interest. While no official bid has been lodged at this stage, conversations with Barcola’s camp are believed to already be underway.
Arteta is thought to be keen on adding more explosiveness and unpredictability to his frontline, particularly out wide, and Barcola fits the profile perfectly with his pace, direct dribbling and eye for goal.
Since joining PSG from Lyon in 2023, the winger has steadily developed into a key attacking figure in Paris, producing an impressive combination of goals and assists while earning praise for his maturity in high-pressure matches.
Whether PSG would seriously entertain a sale remains unclear, but Arsenal making early moves here feels significant. Clubs chasing titles do not stand still for long — and this is exactly the type of signing that signals ambition rather than simply squad depth.
