Tottenham did a lot of bad business last summer and their fans are currently discussing it at length in the Football Transfer Tavern.
One of their bad decisions was to let Steven Caulker leave to join Cardiff City, and now it looks like that decision could come back to haunt them, with Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger believed to be considering launching a raid on the relegated Welsh club.
According to The Metro, the North London club have their eyes on former Tottenham defender Caulker after a stellar season in Wales.
He only left Spurs for Cardiff last summer for a fee in the region of £8 million but is expected to move back to the Premier League after the Bluebird’s relegation.
Tottenham themselves are also set to be interested in Caulker returning, along with Liverpool boss Brendan Rodgers, who managed the defender at Swansea.
Wenger had been trying to lure Ashley Williams to the club with the Swansea captain having just one year remaining on his current contract.
But the Swans are willing to make Williams their highest paid player in history, leading Wenger to look in the direction of Caulker instead.

Caulker would be a good addition. Tall, mobile and good with the ball at his feet. Maybe just need to bulk up a bit more. But he could play with either Kos or BFG. And he’s only 22, and English, compared to Williams who is 28.
