The Daily Mirror have Arsenal fans climbing down from their post FA Cup celebrations here in the Football Transfer Tavern as they seem to think the Gunners are ready to land another Barcelona forward.
This time the man in question is Pedro, who the north London club are willing to pay a huge £26 million for and we think that not only would Arsene Wenger be wasting his money on the attacking star, but that there are far bigger problems for the Arsenal manager to fill in his squad with that cash.
Pedro is a good player and at times our regulars are big fans of his – but given how badly Arsenal need a defender and the fact that there are a couple of top quality ones available this summer for the right price, we think Wenger should consider what he needs wisely before spending his money – although it is not like that usually makes much difference!
