Arsenal fans are rolling their eyes here in the Football Transfer Tavern as Metro to think that Arsene Wenger is considering entering the race for Birmingham City wonder kid, Demarai Gray.
Now as one of our punters notes over a couple of beers at the bar, we don’t have any problems with clubs going after young players and given Gray would only cost around £3 million, it makes financial sense, but the fact of the matter if, if Arsenal want to be winning titles, they have to buy established players as well.
That is something Arsene Wenger never seems to want to do, and we think that it will end up costing him and the Gunners in the long run.
Gray meanwhile is seeing his career go from strength to strength, but needs regular football to see that continue to happen.
