Arsenal enjoyed a nice break from Premier League action this weekend as Wolverhampton Wanderers still had unfinished business in the FA Cup. It’s safe to say that many fans would have wanted their side to play this weekend after building up some momentum in recent times.
The Gunners may have secured two wins on the bounce but it’s fair to say that they struggled prior to that and gaps have appeared in defensive areas at times.
However, much to the delight of supporters, it appears as if Unai Emery already has one eye on the summer.

Arsenal may offer Crystal Palace a couple of exciting players to lower the price for Aaron Wan-Bissaka, according to The Sun.
Indeed, Eagles want £40 million for the Englishman and the Gunners could offer Reiss Nelson as makeweight as part of a potential deal, with Ainsley Maitland-Niles possibly figuring in talks as well.
The North London club have been searching for a right-back who fits boss Unai Emery’s system. Arsenal are adamant any incoming signing must boast great pace and defensive strength, so it looks as if Wan-Bissaka would be the perfect fit for the Gunners.
The Verdict:
Ainsley Maitland-Niles has impressed whenever he’s appeared on the field in the current campaign, so the last thing fans would want is to see the Englishman depart in the summer. Also, Reiss Nelson has been hugely impressive over in Germany at loan club Hoffenheim this season, scoring seven goals and assisting one goal.
It seems crazy that the Gunners would want to swap two of their most promising young players for another young prospect, as he doesn’t exactly offer that much more than either of them.
Of course, Wan-Bissaka is one of the most promising players in European football and he could definitely develop into a star if he was to move to the Emirates, but Emery would be better off raising the funds from selling someone like Mesut Ozil who is of far less importance.
