Arsenal fans are already in love with Lucas Torreira

Arsenal fans have taken to Twitter to praise the club’s new signing Lucas Torreira, who has taken the league by storm.

This comes after his belligerent man of the match performance against bitter rivals Tottenham last weekend, where his relentless performance was topped by a brilliant goal at the end of the match.

That was the display that marked the Uruguayan as one of the best central midfielders in the Premier League, with some fans now saying that he is a better player than Chelsea maestro N’Golo Kanté.

The 22-year-old made a slow start to the season, as new manager Unai Emery chose not to pick him. However, after being given his first start, he has not looked back.

The question remains as to whether he can maintain the level of performance that he showed at The Emirates against Spurs.
