Arsenal have enjoyed a strong season so far this term, and that’s certainly true of their run in the Europa League. The Gunners are set to take on BATE in Belarus this evening in the round of 32 – with a spot in the last 16 on offer.
It’s an important game for Arsenal, as winning the Europa League could be an ideal opportunity for the Gunners to get back into the Champions League. Man Utd are impressing, whilst Chelsea are always dangerous, and so it’s unlikely to see Unai Emery’s men getting back into the top four in England.
However, the Europa League also offers the chance for Unai Emery to give a few chances to Arsenal players that perhaps don’t get as many minutes as they deserve.

One man that fans want to see feature this evening, it seems, is Ainsley Maitland-Niles. He’s featured pretty often this season, having made 9 league appearances despite being injured for a decent chunk of the campaign, but supporters still want to see more.
Arsenal recently shared an image of the defender in training, and in response, fans have lavished him with praise. Some are simply praising him and touting him as a future Arsenal star, whilst others are explicitly stating that they’d like to see him tonight. Either way, he’s very popular indeed…
